Application

It is a clear to pale-yellow oil that is insoluble in water, but soluble in most common organic solvents.
Geraniol does indeed provide an extremely effective insect repellent that has been proven effective in repelling a wide variety of insects. It is also used as an antioxidant and fragrance.
